As a member of the Legislature, I have been honoured to represent the views and respond to the needs of people throughout the constituency. I am proud of our record of accomplishment for the people of Radisson. Recently, I was pleased with our government’s announcement on the Winakwa Community Centre expansion. Here is some more detailed news, along with some photos from the event.

I’m also proud of our other Radisson accomplishments, including:

• Renovations to Concordia Hospital, now the home of new $500,000 state-of-the-art facilities for orthopedic surgery, ensuring reduced wait times for hip and knee replacements



• Construction of the new Transcona Health Access Centre



• Renovations to Winakwa Community Centre and Prendergast Centre



• Support for community development initiatives including community programs like 'Bonding and Bridging Windsor Park'



• Working with New flyer Industries to install environmentally sound manufacturing systems reducing harmful volatile organic compound emissions by 70 percent
